45 liters and four compartments, everything in order
The backpack has four separate zippered compartments: a large main compartment, a middle compartment with mesh pockets and two front pockets, the lower one with an organizer for pens, tools and small items. It holds gear for a couple of days yet is compact enough for everyday use. You always know where everything is and find the right item fast, even in a hurry.
As useful on the trail as at the gym
The backpack works just as well for day hikes, hunting, fishing trips and the cabin, and many use it as a training backpack for the gym or for rucking, walking with weight on your back. Padded shoulder straps, a chest strap, a waist strap and a ventilated back panel spread the load and keep it comfortable when fully packed. Side compression straps keep your gear steady.
MOLLE system, expand the backpack as needed
The front and sides have MOLLE webbing, the same type of attachment system used on military gear. Attach extra pouches, a first aid kit, a bottle holder or other gear, so the backpack grows with your needs. What fits in a 45 liter backpack?

Yes. Many use it as a go bag or evacuation bag. Pack it with what you and your family need for the first few days and keep it within easy reach, for example in the hallway, a closet or the car.
Is the backpack waterproof?
The backpack is water resistant but not fully waterproof. The durable 900D Oxford fabric handles damp weather and showers. In long, heavy rain we recommend packing sensitive items such as documents and electronics in waterproof bags.
What is MOLLE?
MOLLE is an attachment system of woven webbing that originally comes from military gear. The webbing on the front and sides lets you attach extra pouches, a first aid kit, a bottle holder or other gear.
How big is the backpack?
The backpack measures approx. 50 × 30 × 28 cm (19.7 × 11.8 × 11 in) and holds 45 liters according to the manufacturer. It is a good size to carry all day and fits in the trunk, a closet or storage.
Is it genuine military issue?
It is a tactical backpack in a military style, with the same type of MOLLE system and durable 900D fabric that is common on military gear. It is not made for or by any armed forces, but for home preparedness, the outdoors and everyday use.
Can I use it as a training backpack?
